Marcie Schulz
Marcie Schulz is the founder and Executive Director of River House Ministries, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization. After working in the hair industry as a salon owner and cosmetologist for many years, Marcie has seen a lot of broken, hurting people. Some were struggling with the pain from their past; depression, discouragement, broken relationships, and believing the lie that they are unworthy, rejected, and abandoned.

"I realized that just like me, these people needed to find hope and healing through Jesus Christ. God created a desire inside of me to see people set free just as he had done for me. This moved me to start my journey of becoming a Christian biblical counselor."

Marcie, located in Iron River, Wisconsin, is a licensed, commissioned pastor through Isaiah 61 ministries and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary. She is licensed through the National Christian Counseling Association (NCCA) as a Certified Pastoral Counselor and is currently working towards a master’s degree with an emphasis in Temperament Therapy. Marcie is also a Certified Facilitator of Prepare-Enrich® Premarital & Marriage assessments.

Patrick Lambertz
Patrick Lambertz, located in Big Lake, Minnesota, is a licensed minister of Isaiah 61 Ministries. Patrick has been a non-profit accountant for Praise Live, the Union Gospel Mission, and a Pastoral Counselor at Door of Hope Ministries. He founded Men of the City, a men's ministry in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he pastored and counseled hundreds of men. Carla Swanson
Carla is a NCCA Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor, holds a Master of Arts in Ministry of Christian Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Communications. Carla was an associate pastor’s wife for over 5 years. She has led College and Career, Women, and Couples Ministries. Carla was in television and broadcast news for 14 years. She and her husband Brad have been happily married for 35 years with two children, now adults and married, who continue to walk with the Lord in their marriages and careers.
Carla’s passion is helping clients have peaceful, strong, connected family relationships and encouraging them in their true identity in Christ. She longs to see believers leave shame behind and walk in the freedom and love of the Lord! She has a special place in her heart for pastor’s families, and families living with disabilities.
She leads her clients with compassion, patience, the Word of God, and her training in Temperament Counseling, Christ-Centered Mindfulness, Family Dynamics, and The Jesus Protocol!
Her favorite hobbies are traveling, crossword puzzles, furthering her education, and sitting to read with a good cup of coffee and her beloved Golden Retriever Maverick.
She is available Monday through Saturday, days and evenings for in-person appointments in Big Lake, Minnesota, and online appointments.
